The Ohio State University Police at Wooster is responsible for law enforcement and related duties at the Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI), Applewood Apartment Village, ATI Residence Hall, Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC) and all outlying operations for ATI and OARDC. The Wooster campus, located approximately 100 miles from Columbus, covers over 4000 acres in a 35 square mile area of Wayne County and has a resident population of over 500 people.

There are five full time and five part time police officers. These officers have the same authority and work within the same guidelines as do the police officers at the Columbus campus.
