Dear Twig: I found a dead rabbit in a field. Yuck. Big black beetles were crawling on it. Double yuck! What were they? They had a yellowish patch near their head.

Chow Line: Causes of diabetes can be complex (for 7/30/06)
I read that blood sugar spikes can, over time, cause diabetes. But I thought diabetes was genetic, and that eating sugar can't cause it. What's right?
