OARDC Scientist Contributes to SARS Research, Quest for Vaccine
WOOSTER, Ohio -- Ohio State University researcher Linda Saif has joined a group of scientists led by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in an effort to characterize the coronavirus responsible for severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and pave the way to the development of an effective vaccine.

OARDC Researcher, Pioneering Work Honored in Europe
WOOSTER, Ohio -- U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan couldnt attend the March 21 ceremony because of the war in Iraq. But that didnt prevent Ohio State University researcher Linda Saif from fully enjoying her once-in-a-lifetime experience -- receiving an honorary doctorate from Ghent University, one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Europe.
